Alan Surrey worked as a designer and writer for the weekly Arts magazine
The Leader and The Independent newspaper (North Carolina)
for several years in the United States before publishing Contacts Creative.
He has worked as a multimedia consultant for The Department of Works & Pensions, (Change Management Unit), Commerce International, Auction Weekly.com, Bluw Creative, Portfolio Communications, motivational guru, Alan Austin-Smith, NGO, Assistance Association for Political Prisoners Burma and The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. (Celebrity Memorabilia Online Auction).
Recently, Alan has been involved with script development for Independent Film production Company, Bluw-i. (The Visit).
He has a BA in Politics from the Department of African & Asian Studies at Sussex University.and an MA in Media Studies (Multimedia) from the Graduate Research Centre for Culture & Communication also at Sussex University.
